The singer Pink was born in 1979 and is the daughter of a Vietnam veteran who instilled a love of music. His real name is Alicia Moore and took the stage name Pink after watching the movie Reservoir Dogs, with reference to the role he played Mr Pink Steve Buscemi. His childhood took place in Philadelphia, and spent listening to Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Nirvana, Guns N 'Roses, Green Day and other groups. He began singing in a gospel choir, but soon changed style, joining a punk band.
